First ever experimental demonstration of non von-Neumann computing using nanoscale electronic phase-change memory type devices. Adjudged 'extremely important and very urgent' by reviewers and journal editor, published online with maximum priority and selected for Wiley research highlights on MaterialsViews.Com. Already led to invitations to present results at prestigious conferences (IEEE NVMTS Conf Singapore 2012; MRS Spring Meeting San Francisco 2013) and to a major £6.5 million EPSRC Programme Grant proposal (invited to Panel) led by Wright and in collaboration with world-leading researchers from Imperial College, Cambridge, Southampton and Manchester Universities.
