Additional information
Mat.thompson@garradhassan.com says “This collaborative work has informed the development of the Garrad Hassan Tidal Farmer software for the design of tidal energy farms. The method described in the paper has the unique advantage of being suitable for farm optimisation both for power prediction and environmental impact as it incorporates the effect of the turbines on the local flow field.” Ned.Minns@itpower.co.uk says: “The work also led to a new range of services for tidal developers, provided by IT Power, including a modelling tool, under development, and further publications/conferences”.
