'Skaldic Poetry of the Scandinavian Middle Ages’ is a major international project, re-editing the entire corpus of Old Norse ‘skaldic’ poetry. The project, involving six general editors and over 40 contributing editors (such as myself), has received funding from a range of scholarly organizations (see www.abdn.ac.uk/skaldic). Complete edition will be seven volumes, each in two parts. I wish to be assessed on my main contribution to Volume I (parts 1 and 2), namely Part 1: 366-7, 379-81. Part 2: 649-63, 738-87, 849-76, 1076-8). The full volume is 1400 pages in length and I have edited approximately 10% of it.
