The paper reports the first software for computing mechanical anisotropy of nonwoven fabrics. The software was developed for design and optimization of nonwoven fabrics. The paper has an international academic co-author, Prof. Behnam Pourdeyhimi, NC State University, USA. The research was conducted in collaboration with the Nonwovens Cooperative Research Center (NCRC), NC State University, USA. The code got recognition of world-leading international textile companies (Mr. Thomas Godfrey - US Army NSRDEC - Thomas.Godfrey@us.army.mil; Mr BradEaton - 3M - bweaton1@mmm.com; Dr Carl Wust - FiberVisions - Carl.Wust@FiberVisions.com) at NCRC.
