English abstract

This essay extends my research on contemporary Ressourcement theology, and provides a contribution to the overcoming of the modern dualism between the sacred sphere and secular culture, starting from a discussion of a problem that is highly important for the understanding of the 'event culture' of globalized media-societies. It outlines the aporia of (post-)modern attempts to formalize the paradoxical logic of the 'truth event', subsequent to Kant, Kierkegaard, Heidegger, Derrida, Badiou, and Zizek, and argues that these aporiae can only be overcome by a re-contextualisation that takes seriously its embedding in the narratives and habits of the Jewish-Christian tradition.
