Reading Lost: perspectives on a hit television show
Pearson took sole (100%) responsibility for the guiding editorial vision for the volume, commissioning 12 original chapters from prominent and early career scholars in the UK, the US and Australia. This vision involved ensuring the chapters collectively addressed the multiple strands of television studies: production and audiences, textual characteristics and the representation of identity. Pearson sole authored a 1,500 word introduction addressing the book’s structure and a 6,500 word chapter analyzing the narrative structure of Lost. She was solely responsible for all editorial work on the collection, working closely with authors to edit their chapters for argument and style.
