Additional information

This output focuses on remaining useful life (RUL) which is the final goal of machine prognosis. The novelty of this work is that the RUL of machine is accurately estimated based on only normal operation data (healthy data) whereas all previous studies needed both normal and failure data to generate the forecasting model. This output also proposes a new indicator which is simple and easy to assess the machine degradation. Based on the survival function created according to the indicator, the RUL values are precisely predicted.
