Additional information

We demonstrated whole-column electrochemical detection in a lab-chip format for the first time. Publication led to a Korean government-funded studentship to develop droplet-flow microfluidic lab-chip HPLC, since published in Lab-on-a-chip and Chem Comm., and invited oral and keynote presentations at Pittcon, Yokahama (HITS 2009) and 2011 Biochip and Biomedicine Symposium, Osong Korea; the technology has been adopted by the de Mello group and Hierlemann groups at ETH Zurich and the Soo-Ik Chang group at Chungbuk National University, Republic of Korea.
