Additional information

This article discusses a novel mechanism for detection, identification and tracking of electro-mechanical waste products. In line with globally recognised tracking and traceability profile in food industries, we demonstrate a new technique for detection and recovery of components from industrial waste. The solution is being discussed with TSB and a number of UK industrial partners to be deployed for the Circular Manufacturing initiative. The aim of this research is to encourage recycling and reusability so as to reduce the environmental impact of products at the end of life cycle.
