Hellier leads the team which built and runs the WASP-South transiting-exoplanet survey facility, from which this discovery derives, and played a large role in all aspects of obtaining, processing and analysing the WASP-South data, and the planet-candidate selection and follow-up leading to this planet discovery. As lead-author, Hellier took the leading role in the analysis and interpretation of this planet and the writing of this paper.
