This work which provides a new theoretical framework (3C: Context, Configuration, and Capability) to deconstruct supply/value networks has helped to win an EU network grant (RG66761, worth EUR837,900) to allow three EU universities (Birmingham, Cambridge and Technical University of Denmark) and four Chinese universities (Harbin University of Technology, Tsinghua, Zhejiang and Shanghai Jiaotong) to work together to tackle high value engineering network issues between 2012 and 2016.
