This paper extends the 'coherent-structure' view of the velocity field to obtain predictions for the unsteady pressures. In so doing, it was described by one of its reviewers as 'a great result for physical modelling'. The paper originated with the PhD research of Dr Ahn, who is now an Associate Professor at Chungnam National University, Korea.
