The edited book, Valuing Historic Environments, was the product of a cross-disciplinary research network for which Gibson was the PI. The network, part of the ‘Preserving Our Past’ programme, was funded by the AHRC, EPSRC, ESRC, NERC and English Heritage. Gibson had the lead role (70%) in the research network and in commissioning, curating and editing the resulting book. She also co-authored the introduction (50%) and is the sole author of a chapter.
