Augmented second-order statistics of quaternion random signals
<12>This work presents a novel computational and theoretical way to take advantage of the inherent multidimensional nature of quaternion signals. It is in line with the EPSRC strategic policy to bridge between the Mathematical Sciences and Information Communication Technologies under Working Together. For example, this work has initiated interactions with Walden (Statistics; Imperial) and Navarro Moreno (Time Series; Jaen), who have shown keen interest in this emerging field. Quaternions were proposed in 1843,,but it is only now that we know how to manipulate quaternion variables to make full use of their statistical properties. 35 Google Scholar citations (22/10/13)
