Additional information

CAIMAN (www.caiman.org.uk) is the culmination of an interdisciplinary partnership between high-performance computing, image analysis and oncology to establish an open website where life scientists upload and process images through specialised algorithms in a high-performance cluster and receive free quantitative results by email. Reyes-Aldasoro coordinated the project, created the website and designed the image-analysis algorithms (Reyes-Aldasoro (Elec Lett 2008), Reyes-Aldasoro (Elec Lett 2009), Reyes-Aldasoro (J Microscopy 2010), Reyes-Aldasoro (Microvascular Res 2012)). CAIMAN has processed more than 2,700 images by 68 users, has visits from more than 1,310 unique IP addresses in 63 countries and over 12,800 page views.
