Shows that capillary-induced wrapping of rough membranes by a liquid depends on the wetting properties of the liquid. The work was in collaboration with the University of Northumbria and was supported by an EPSRC platform grant (EP/E063489/1). The deposition technique was used to develop further work [J. Phys. D: Appl. Phys. 46, 345307 (2013)].
