<28>Findings from analysis of computational techniques considering only the electrocardiogram have recognised the need to augment the process through analysis from a bioinformatics perspective. This work represents a multi-disciplinary collaboration between CSRI, Ulster's Biomedical Sciences Research Institute, Technical University Wlidau and Bingen University of Applied Sciences, Germany, combining techniques from computer science, bioinformatics and parallel computing to improve the process of cardiac simulations.
