Additional information

The original contribution of this paper is that it identifies and starts to fill, the global gap in the knowledge and understanding of the spatial and cartographic impacts of satellite navigation use. It It demonstrates, through the use of attitudinal approaches, that satellite navigation is intrinsically changing people's wayfinding behaviour, practices of navigation and, crucially, for the wider geographic and cartographic academies, their understanding of what 'maps' are and do.
