Additional information

When conducting numerical modelling of coastal processes and flooding at regional scale, it is necessary to manage and query the large amount of model data produced. In addition, the setting-up and running of scenario tests at regional scale can be prohibitively time-consuming. This peer reviewed conference paper describes the GIS-based database management of a regional-scale modelling method for assessing coastal erosion- and flood-risk. The method was applied during an industrial geo-morphological modelling study of Pagham Harbour with the Environment Agency as Client (HR Wallingford Report EX6459, March 2011
