Additional information

McKay was first author, took responsibility for the book proposal to the publisher, coordinated all of the book chapters, and wrote:

Chapter 1: The lived experiences of undocumented migrants, pp 1-11;

Chapter 3: Theories of migration, pp 27-44;

Chapter 4: What works and what does not - methodologies and migration research, pp 45-57;

Chapter 5: Controlling undocumented migration at EU level, pp 58-74;

Chapter 11: Europe's undocumented migrants - here to stay, pp 160-164.

The book grew out of a two-year EU-funded six country study, Undocumented Workers’ Transitions (UWT), which McKay co-ordinated, including overseeing all stages of the research.
