Additional information

A Lost Expression comprises several pieces commissioned and published in the UK, Canada, France and the US. The title piece, ‘[Jeremiah]’ or ‘A Lost Expression’ was commissioned for the Shepherds Bush Theatre’s 66 Books project, a collaboration with several prominent writers including Jeanette Winterson, Carol Ann Duffy, Anne Carson, Neil LaBute and Billy Bragg. It was first performed by Ralf Little to a total audience of 1,700 over its one month run and also broadcast as an audio work in various locations affiliated to the project including St Paul’s Cathedral. Selected poems from this collection were recorded and broadcast as part of BBC Radio 3’s Proms coverage in 2011. Five have been selected to appear in a forthcoming Bloodaxe anthology of 21st century English poetry. Salt Books publish in the UK, the USA and Australia, where the book is widely available.
