Additional information

The contrinbution of each author to this output is 50%. This output is an extract from a novel Dunsinane, which has not yet been published in its entirety. The research focus of the novel is that it proposesa critical response that fuses critical and creative modes. As an example of critical/creative writing, it draws on strategies from literature itself to explore and reveal literary response as something more and other than can be revealed or explored by a linear, rationalistic argument. The output questions the forms of traditional criticism, challenging them as naturalised and taken for granted in scholarly and pedagogic modes.
