The outputs of this work on droplet impact and coalescence are being applied to optimisation of image quality and precision in graphical printing and printed electronics (Industrial contacts Peter Walsh, Business Development Manager, FFEI Ltd, ID_in_audit_file@ffei.co.uk, and Dr Steve Jones, CEO, Printed Electronics Ltd, ID_in_audit_file@printedelectronics.co.uk). The work has recently been extended to study the important aspect of droplet mixing which is relevant to reactive inkjet printing.
