Additional information

The conference version of the paper was awarded an American Society of Mechanical Engineers IGTI Turbomachinery Committee Best Paper Award 2007. The work confirmed to Rolls Royce that current leading edge geometry of compressor blades had a significant negative impact on performance. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Rolls Royce confirm that they have improved leading edge geometry in line with this work. ID_in_audit_file@mhi.co.jp, ID_in_audit_file@rolls-royce.com.
