This research has arisen from previous work that is the subject of UK and US granted patents (GB2375748 and US7,158,052 respectively), awarded to the authors. The current work presents a novel concept for displaying take-off performance in the cockpit, that is unambiguous, quick and easy to read. This and other publications by the author have led to an invitation to be part of EUROCAE (European body responsible for the publication of new EU standards) WG-94, tasked with preparing an international standard on take-off monitoring.
