Additional information

Chemring Plc are world leading producers of pyrotechnics and countermeasures. To validate and sell these products they need to be able to demonstrate their efficacy. This research was part of a collaboration that looked at the interaction of multi-spectral countermeasures and counter-countermeasures. The results enabled Chemring to enact a programme of change requests and a product improvement plan for CounterSim, Chemring's principle engagement modelling software, which simulates engagements of RF and IR homing missiles against ships, aircraft and land vehicles. This was used to enhance overseas business activities in particular. Contact: Brian Butters, brian.butters@meontechnology.com (formerly at Chemring Countermeasures Ltd).
