Additional information

International collaboration between University of Mons—UMONS, Belgium, Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne, France and Cranfield University. This research showed that Acoustic Emissions (AE) associated with defective rolling element bearings exhibited cyclostationarity properties. This discovery advances the use of the AE technology as a diagnostic tool for assessing mechanical integrity of rotating machinery. (Contact: Xavier CHIEMENTIN xavier.chiementin@univ-reims.fr)
