This study typifies the Cranfield Space Engineering approach of using system engineering to identify mission drivers, and then studying specific topics to resolve mission risks. Radar clutter is one focus of current GEOSAR research for ESA (Prof Monti-Guarnieri, monti@elet.polimi.it). The field videogrammetry developed has other applications including patient gait monitoring (LIRMM, CNRS, Montpellier, Dr Guiraud, david.guiraud@lirmm.fr).
