The project was carried out in collaboration with the Boeing Company, and analysed how the supplier – buyer matchmaking process could be made traceable and optimal in the aerospace maintenance sector, enabling the inclusion of multiple supplier and buyer selection criteria to be brought together in one algorithm. (Mr. Kenneth Owens, Boeing R&D Seattle). The work led to a patent application: Double auctions using Analytical Hierarchy Process for supplier selection EFS 10532379.
