Additional information

A collaboration between Cranfield University and Jaguar Land Rover, funded by the EPSRC, EP/H050337/1, £250,000.

The drivability aspects of parallel electric hybrid vehicles were examined. The advanced control strategies are used to reduce the calibration overhead of hybrid supervisory controllers. Results from the paper are currently being examined by Jaguar Land Rover for their first production Range Rover Electric Hybrid Vehicle. (Paul Darnell. pdarnell@jaguarlandrover.com)
