This has been a long term project covering the RAE and REF assessment periods. The work on Huw Jones’ ballads has resulted in three new outputs: firstly a printed edition of 50 ballads together with an introduction, notes and glossary (published 2010) and secondly a website which has a transcript and edited version of around 200 ballads, based either on the printed or manuscript source, together with two newly-edited interludes (2013). The textual research informed the monograph Huw Jones o Langwm (2009) which also discusses his work as publisher. Submission of this output as "other form of assessable output" was discussed with the REF team at HEFCE.
