Nuisance Law and Environmental Protection: A study of nuisance injunctions in practice
Through six substantial chapters of between 11,000-16,000 words, this book distils from the literature contrasting theories of the practical consequences of nuisance injunctions when awarded against a polluting industrial enterprise, which it then tests through a series of four contextual studies of reported actions. Drawing on a variety of materials extraneous to the law report, each contextual study explores the social and economic functioning of the law in relation to theory in a way that is original, significant and rigorous. Each individual chapter stands up as a possible REF output in its own right, were it to be published separately.
