Additional information

This paper describes an industrial collaboration to develop improved protocols for testing radiation effects in electronics. Non-intrusive, local, online measurement of neutron fluence was demonstrated through novel application of low-cost photodiode sensors. The outcome enabled cost-effective exploitation of neutron test facilities through sharing of neutron beamlines by multiple devices under test. The approach has been adopted for use by industrial collaborators including those on the TSB-funded SEEDER project.
