Gallagher designed the samples, supervised the measurements and carried out the data analysis, including all of the analysis of critical behaviour. Gallagher, Jungwirth and Novak wrote the paper. Gallagher was principal investigator on grants funding the work, which was performed as part of an ongoing collaboration between the Nottingham spintronics group and the Prague and Hitachi groups.
