Additional information

This work was disseminated as a result of an FP7 grant to develop the first micro electrochemical machine for the needs of automotive and medical sector in the world. The work is multidisciplinary and encompasses knowledge form chemistry, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, and control engineering. As a result from the investigation, the first Micro Electrochemical (ECM) machine in the world was built and is currently working at Sonplas GmbH in Germany, producing nozzles for fuel injection (Contact: Mr Frankl Herbert, H.Frankl@sonplas.de).
