Additional information

This well cited paper, demonstrating predictable scale-up from test-tube to pilot scale counter-current chromatography, has directly led to the world’s first 18L CCC instrument, installed at Brunel, being used for 12 industrial purifications (some confidential) including separations of commercial insecticides for Dow AgroSciences LLC (DeAmicis, C. et al J. Chromatogr. A 1218 (2011) 6122-6127), API recovery from pharmaceutical waste streams for GSK (Ignatova, S. et al., CCC2012 conference, Hangzhou, China, 6-8 Aug 2012) and the purification of a drug candidate for AstraZeneca (Sumner, N., J. Chromatogr. A 1218 (2011) 6107– 6113).
