Additional information

This is the first work to systematically assess information requirements for long term services based on complex engineering products. An industrial and consulting tool based on the model developed in this paper was developed by an EPSRC funded, technology transfer programme (EP/H500200/1), KT Box, between 2010-11. The tool has been used in BAE Systems, MOD, IBM, Selex and several other organisations as a means of planning information requirements. Contacts for reference: Mr Andrew Grant, Selex, ID_in_audit_file@selexgalileo.com , Mr Paul Johnson, BAE Systems, ID_in_audit_file@baesystems.com. This work is being adapted for construction industry at the EPSRC Smart Infrastructure IKC (EP/K000314/1).
