The research results have been captured in a handbook, "Choose your own Venture: A Handbook for Manufacturing Start-ups" (S Lubik, N Dee, K Platts & T Minshall) aimed at entrepreneurs wishing to start a manufacturing business, in order to significantly improve chances of successful business creation (due to appear in 2013). David Gill, Director St John's Innovation Centre, Cambridge (ID_in_audit_file@stjohns.co.uk) has said "Half of all new businesses don’t survive beyond three years. But with the help of this handbook, you can defy the odds and greatly increase your chances of survival!"
