The novel CFD approach, validated against new measurements in this paper, has given rise to over GBP2M (including facility cost) in jet LES support (EPSRC awards EP/I017771/1, GBP436k+GBP597k facilities, EP/I010440/1, value GBP441k, EP/I017747/1, value GBP246k+GBP98k facilities), Rolls-Royce (RR)-TSB-Airbus funds under SILOET (AB266C/3TP:L8002C, GBP200k) and HARMONY (24485-171171, GBP182k) and participation in EU JERONIMO award (314692, GBP275k) with Airbus-RR. Further related support is under EP/G027633/1, EP/L000261/1 (UKTC merged), EU PRACE proposal 2013081626 GBP1.75M (facilities) - there is now a RR strategy to bring this novel CFD approach in-house (ID_in_audit_file@rolls-royce.com).
