Additional information

This is the first collection of essays on Paul Auster since 1994. Unlike other Auster scholarship, it is interdisciplinary and foregrounds the mature Auster by focusing on his post-9/11 production, including film-making and political writing. Ciocia’s essay in the collection also fills a gap in scholarship by exploring Auster’s representation of women, a topic so neglected that is has been identified as the subject of the doctoral thesis for one of the Ph.D. students to be affiliated to the Centre for Auster Studies to be established in Copenhagen in 2014.
