Additional information

This paper is an output of KTP with Longhurst Group for which I was Principal Investigator. As a result, I initiated two further TSB funded research with Longhurst, Allan Joyce Architects, Robert Woodhead, Richard Julian Associates and West Lindsey District Council to evaluate performance of new dwellings. The research findings of the first project is published in a booklet (800 copies) and disseminated. The second project will be completed in 2014.

LCA research is well established in Lincoln. “The role of eco-refurbishment in sustainable construction and built environment” (Sodagar, etal), e.g. won the Best Paper Prize at SASBE 2009 Conference.
