Additional information

This refereed volume brings together new research that was developed over five years of cross-disciplinary collaboration in the Making Publics project, a Major Collaborative Research Initiative funded by SSHRC. From a core-group of 20 co-investigators and collaborators—who are authors of the essays—the project expanded to include more than two hundred researchers (junior faculty, postdocs and postgrads), and numerous publications. As a co-investigator, Wilson’s contribution to the volume included shaping its historical and theoretical framework, extensive conceptual editorial work with the essays, formatting and indexing, co-authorship of the introduction, and original research in her chapter “Confusion of Faces.”
