Additional information

This paper presents a novel signal processing algorithm, which is able to accurately capture temporary spectrum holes existing in OFDM-based wireless systems. The algorithm has been evaluated in digital video broadcast and Wi-Fi systems, which shows both excellent sensing performance and high sensitivity to weak signals or interferences. Therefore, this algorithm has the potential to be employed for improving the opportunistic reuse of TV white space and ISM band.
