Additional information

This paper followed the original global analysis published by myself and Anderson in 2008, and was part of a special issue of the journal focusing on 4 degrees Centigrade of global warming due to climate change. The purpose was to consider the difference between industrialised and industrialising nations in terms of emission mitigation and it was used as context for a range of detailed analyses of what a 4 degrees Centigrade temperature rise could mean for society. The work has led to numerous invitations to present findings at national and international business, policy and academic meetings.
