The morphology, electrical conductivity and vapour sensing ability of inkjet-printed thin films of single-wall carbon nanotubes
The deposition of Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (SWCNTs) is the main challenge to their use in the implementation of novel electronic devices. This paper demonstrates the first inkjet printing of SWCNTs and their potential use in sensing. Recognition of this work was made by Salehi-Khojin et al “Nonthermal Current-Stimulated Desorption of Gases from Carbon Nanotubes” Science, 10th September 2010, Vol. 329 (5997), pp. 1327-1330, who proposed a class of room temperature gas sensors based on the Poole-Frenkel mechanism identified in our paper as the main conduction process in SWCNTs.
