Additional information

This study investigated the impact of feed water inlet design on the performance of Reverse Osmosis and Nanofiltration membranes. The study explained the advantages of using different design configuration for seawater inlet on the RO performance. It also showed the impact of seawater pretreatment on the RO performance. Yet, there is a debate about using conventional or MF pretreatment for the feed water to the RO and NF. The study showed the advantage of using MF pretreatment on the RO process performance. The study also investigated the impact of seawater TDS on the performance of the RO process.
