Additional information
<23> This paper discusses the use of a novel real-time tracking method for fluoroscopic image-guided interventions. It is the first paper making use of efficient discrete, combinatorial optimization for tool tracking. The article is an extension of a work presented at CVPR 2009 (acceptance rate of 26%). The work was funded by an industrial grant from Siemens Healthcare, and the proposed tracking method is considered for being integrated into the Siemens angio software package.
