Additional information

<33>This submission presents the first published article related to the extent of vexatious requests. It is a novel work in freedom of information (FOI) studies, and the findings directly question the public perception of the extent of vexatious requests. It investigates the entire local government sector for Scotland, so is authoritative across the domain studied, and should inform further research on vexatious requests and the impact of FOI legislation. Its major significance was recognised by an invitation from the Scottish FOI Commissioner to present the findings to a conference of local government FOI officers in June 2013.
