Achievement of silver deposition by the atomic layer deposition method. The work was done in collaboration with SAFC Hitech. The company has subsequently patented the precursors for a low temperature process. (evidence file Chalker3-1.pdf). The process is being developed for silver inkjet deposition funded in the EPSRC project EP/K008633/1 in collaboration with DuPont (UK) Ltd, IMRC: A Centre for Innovative Manufacture, OpTek Systems, Pilkington Special Glass, Renishaw Plc and SAFC Hitech.
