Transregional linkages in the north-eastern Atlantic - an "end to end" analysis of pelagic ecosystems

Fox conceived and led the EurOceans workshop which brought together leading experts from a variety of European marine research institutes to undertake this review. The overall structure was developed during the workshop followed by written contributions from the other co-authors. Fox, Harris and Sundby edited the individual contributions from the other co-authors and wrote the combining text to generate a coherent review. The review is of particular relevance in regard to current European policy directions in terms of producing regional ecosystem-quality indices. The review highlights the necessity to take into account trans-regional linkages in such regionally focussed environmental management.
